Allison was diagnosed with CTEPH in 2019 and had to take leave from her schooling as a result. She had a PEA surgery in 2021 out in Toronto and is now just living life one day at a time. She has since become a Supervisor at Starbucks and has 2 young children who are her entire world.

Angela Brown is a pulmonary hypertension patient, speaker, and patient advocate based in Toronto. Diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension in 2024, she is passionate about supporting others through shared experience, encouragement, and connection.

Angèle was diagnosed with PH in 2021 and lives in New Brunswick. She has retired from professional life, and she now balances her time between caring for herself and her family and opening her heart to other PH patients.

Brad was diagnosed with porto-pulmonary hypertension in 2021. He leads a local PH support group in the Vancouver area.

Jane has been living with PAH for almost 10 years. She has lived experience with treating her PAH with oral and IV therapies, has grown her family with the help of a surrogate and has completed the work up to be listed for a double lung transplant.

Junaid first experienced symptoms of PAH at the gym in 2022. Moving from Pakistan to Canada in 2022, Junaid now lives in Ottawa and works as a part-time Teaching Assistant at Carleton University.

Marion was diagnosed with IPAH in 2011. She is a PH Support Group leader in London, Ontario and finds joy in dog obedience training and travelling with her family.

Terri was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension in 2019. She lives in Victoria, BC with her husband and cat. She is a poet and writes about her experience with PAH. She is also the organizer of Books for Breath, an annual fundraiser for PHA Canada.
