Living With Heart Failure & Social Connection

How does living with heart failure affect your relationships, friendships, and sense of connection?

The CONNECT-HF study, led by researchers at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, is looking at how social connections change when younger and middle-aged adults are diagnosed with and live with heart failure.

The goal is to use what researchers learn to help develop future resources or programs that improve connection and support for people living with heart failure.

Participants will complete brief online questionnaires (about 10 minutes) and take part in a one-time, 60-minute virtual interview to share their experiences with relationships, social support, loneliness, and connection while living with heart failure.

Participants who complete the questionnaires and interview will receive a $50 Shoppers Drug Mart gift card.

Interested in sharing your experience?
