Freda Tom

Freda Tom joined the BC Pulmonary Hypertension Program at the Vancouver General Hospital as the project manager of the Canadian Pulmonary Hypertension Registry in 2023.

In 2022, she began her career as a Clinical Trials Coordinator at the Centre for Lung Health. Over the next 16 years, she advanced to become a Research Ethics Coordinator at UBC Clinical Research Ethics Board. She has experience in ethics submissions, regulatory compliance, budget negotiations, the management of industry-sponsored clinical trials, and the ethical review of studies across a range of therapeutic areas.
