Dr. Susanna Mak

Dr. Mak is a Clinician Scientist in the Division of Cardiology at the University of Toronto. She serves as the Director of the Harold & Esther Mecklinger and the Posluns Family Cardiac Catheterization Research Laboratory at Mount Sinai Hospital. Her lab assesses heart chamber function to study why men and women experience heart disease differently, and uses hemodynamic tools to better understand breathlessness, heart failure and pulmonary hypertension.
