Finu Cherian

Finu Cherian, MC, RCC is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in Vancouver, BC, focusing on trauma, grief, and caregiver support. Finu has been a caregiver since childhood and understands both the challenges and rewards that come with supporting loved ones. Inspired by her experiences, she pursued a master’s degree in counselling, completing a capstone project that examined the impact of caregiving, the factors contributing to caregiver burden and burnout, and ways clinical counsellors can better support caregivers. Through her own caregiving journey, Finu experienced firsthand the value of community connection and the vital support provided by Family Caregivers of BC.
