Danielle Wilson-Brown

Danielle Wilson-Brown is a passionate Gitxaala cultural advocate and President of Vision Quest Communications Inc., currently serving as an Indigenous Community Connector with PHA. She co-hosts the podcast "Before I Go" alongside her mother, Marion Brown, openly discussing Marion's journey with Pulmonary Hypertension and her decision to pursue Medical Assistance in Dying when quality of life is greatly diminished. As both a dedicated caregiver and mental health support advocate, Danielle combines her lived experience with professional expertise to address the unique needs of Indigenous individuals and families navigating complex health challenges. Her commitment to cultural revitalization extends through her practice of ancestral land-based skills, including hide tanning and fish skin leather making, while her consulting work through Vision Quest Communications leverages project management, research, and grant writing to secure funding for cultural initiatives and support Indigenous community development that bridges traditional knowledge with contemporary advocacy.
