Brad Lynch
Brad was diagnosed with portopulmonary hypertension in June 2021 after experiencing significant shortness of breath, headaches, and a racing heart during a simple walk with his dogs. He began treatment to lower the pressure in his heart and work toward potentially qualifying for a liver transplant, continuing his treatment journey through moves between Alberta and BC. Now permanently on disability, Brad takes things one day at a time and enjoys giving back to the PH community. He hosts a monthly gathering in the Vancouver area for people living with PH, caregivers, family members and supporters, and also volunteers as chair of the social recreation committee at his trailer park co-op in Pitt Meadows.
