Angele Belliveau

Angèle was diagnosed with severe Idiopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (IPAH) in March 2021. She immediately began a course of triple medication therapy: Tadalafil,  Macitentan and IV Epoprostenil (Caripul), and has since changed treatments to include Subcutaneous Remodulin infusions and Sotatercept injections.

Prior to beginning her PH journey,  Angèle enjoyed professional life as a computer software trainer, traveling throughout Europe and helping companies to improve their processes. A sudden diagnosis halted her career, and she has since learned how to be a professional patient and advocate for well-being. Her passion for writing and teaching continues in this chapter of her, with her involvement in PHA Canada's Peer Mentor program and the Patient Partner Advisory Council.

Angèle lives in Dieppe, New Brunswick with her husband Guillaume and their sons Alex and William.  She loves the beach and finds peace in the ocean's waves. Life with PH has taught her to be spontaneous and that joy can be found in the most unexpected moments.
