PHA Canada is working to hear the voices of patient partners from all over Canada, who are different ages and from different backgrounds and cultures, to shape and inform our research projects. Patient partners include not only patients but also caregivers, family members and those that are directly affected by PH. The purpose of PHA Canada’s Open Academy is to provide patient partners with the skills and knowledge they need in order to take on leadership roles within the community. (i.e., volunteering, leading patient support, outreach, education, awareness, patient-oriented research and public policy campaigns). The basic skills and knowledge provided in this training are to help you feel confident and comfortable in your role as a patient partner with PHA Canada.
