Uric acid might cause PAH

Other studies have shown a relationship between high levels of uric acid and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). This study looked at whether uric acid might actually be one cause of PAH. They found strong evidence of a causal link, which suggests uric acid might be a useful biomarker and therapeutic target for PAH.
