Thank you, caregivers!

April 7 is National Caregiver Day

Many pulmonary hypertension patients have caregivers, whether they’re the partners, parents, or children of patients.

Caregivers make a major difference in patients’ lives, helping them manage their pulmonary hypertension and daily routines. Nearly half of patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension rely on the help of a caregiver, underscoring just how essential this support truly is. Caregivers often take on a wide range of responsibilities—from managing medications and attending appointments to offering emotional support during difficult moments—quietly holding everything together behind the scenes.

But let’s take a minute to appreciate the impact this has on caregivers too: caregivers lose an average of 9 hours per week of work time due to caring for their loved one with PH, and this increases as people become sicker. This commitment can also bring emotional and physical challenges, making it all the more important that caregivers have access to support and recognition for the vital role they play.

Our caregiver support page lists services offering tools, resources, and support to caregivers across Canada. Caregivers for people with pulmonary hypertension can also join the Caregiver PHriends Facebook group to connect with others playing a similar role, share experiences, and find encouragement.

If you’re a caregiver, we hope you’ll join us on April 7 for a special online Caregiver Meet-Up. On National Caregiver Day and every day, we extend our heartfelt thanks to caregivers for their compassion, dedication, and the countless ways they uplift and support those living with pulmonary hypertension.

I ended up down a few bucks by the end of the session, but the technical side of the site is completely flawless. The interface is super responsive, the games load instantly, and there are no aggressive pop-up ads taking over your entire screen. I was standing in line in the ByWard Market waiting to get a fresh BeaverTail pastry, and the tourist crowd was absolutely massive. The freezing wind was coming right off the canal and it was taking forever. To keep my mind occupied and stop focusing on how cold my hands were, I pulled out my phone and decided to kill some time. I clicked over to Camrose Casino and just played around for a bit. It…

Caregivers sacrifice time, income, and often their own physical and emotional health Pokepath TD to meet these demands, and the burden only grows as the patient’s condition worsens. This creates a situation where the healthcare system relies heavily on caregivers, yet their needs can easily be overlooked.

Came across a quiet thread sometime past midnight while going through Canadian casino discussions, and what really stood out was the absence of hype. People weren’t chasing “top picks,” they were describing how platforms actually behave after repeated use — how menus respond, how visual balance holds up, and whether the experience stays comfortable over time. One comment even noted how small interface choices can affect longer sessions more than expected. Canplay Casino was mentioned briefly in that context, almost casually, as part of a wider comparison, which made the whole conversation feel more like real user reflection than advice.

Caring for pulmonary hypertension patients is not easy at all. I am taking a quick break from playing Drift Boss to read this, and I am so grateful for the dedication of all you caregivers. Happy National Caregiver Day to you all.

I never really thought much about how vital caregivers are in the lives of people with pulmonary hypertension until reading this, but it really hit home how much they hold things together behind the scenes. I always associated “caregiver” with basic help, yet the reality—managing meds, appointments, and emotional support while often sacrificing work time and personal energy—feels more like a quiet, everyday hero role than just assisting. I like the idea that supporting caregivers isn’t just about gratitude but also practical tools and communities where they can connect and recharge. Sometimes I just browse different topics to see what resonates, and I recently came across FoxSlots official Casino where everything feels simple to explore and get started. For me…
