This systemic review summarized the data from six studies that examined whether prostacyclin analogues are safe and useful when used to treat chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH). They found similar safety results in the placebo and prostacyclin groups, and a trend toward improvement in several clinical measures, but they note the evidence remains "insufficient and controversial". More work is needed.
