Traveling with PH: Angele's Family Adventures Across Canada - Blog 1/6

Introduction: Blog 1/6

We are the Belliveau-Thibeault Family from Dieppe, New Brunswick.

This year we received an opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream. After many family discussions, the four of us agreed: let's spend the summer together and travel across Canada

Angèle: travel enthusiast living with PAH for 3 years who dreams of discovering the beauty of her country and sharing it with her favorite people.

Guillaume: devoted family man and avid kiter who will both drive and fly across Canada.

Fun fact: we have been married 20 years, and will be renewing vows every day during trip!

Two teen sons, who have studied Canadian history and geography and want to learn more in person.

Alex: artist looking forward to capturing the beauty of Canada on canvas and on camera

William: animal enthusiast who can't wait to see the bison in Manitoba and the whales in BC.

We have decided that this was the time to build core memories together. With chronic illness, we strive to seize every moment and enjoy life. There is no time like the present!

With this blog series, we want to share ideas and tips on how to travel with an illness that requires both physical and medical accommodations. Our planning was thorough and time consuming,  and we are confident that the result will bring peace of mind.

Let the fun begin!
