December 5th is International Volunteer Day, we pause to celebrate the incredible people who are the heartbeat of our community: our volunteers.
Whether you're living with pulmonary hypertension (PH), supporting a loved one, or simply passionate about making a difference—your dedication, time, and compassion are what make PHA Canada’s work possible.
From running support groups and organizing local events, to serving on committees and sharing your lived experience, every act of volunteerism brings connection, strength, and hope to the PH community. You help people feel seen, heard, and supported through some of their most difficult moments. And you remind us all that we are not alone.
🎥 In this short video, our staff and board members have come together to share a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you who gives your time and heart to this cause:
Your contributions may vary in form and frequency—but they are all vital. Because of you:
Patients find strength through shared experiences.
Caregivers feel supported and empowered.
Our advocacy is stronger, our reach is wider, and our impact is deeper.
Volunteers like you shape every part of our mission, and we are endlessly grateful.
From all of us at PHA Canada: thank you. You are helping to build a future where no one faces PH alone.
