Audience​​
​The Pulmonary Hypertension Scientific Sessions welcomes health care providers who manage patients with pulmonary hypertension, including (but not limited to) cardiologists, respirologists, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, physician assistants, medical students and residents, graduate students, nurses, clinical fellows, and researchers.​

Program​

Come prepared for a full, intense day of learning! The program features two keynote speakers and ten additional 30-minute sessions on a wide variety of pulmonary hypertension-related topics.
​
The program is co-developed by the Pulmonary Hypertension Association of Canada and the Canadian Thoracic Society and is planned to achieve scientific integrity, objectivity, and balance.

In conjunction with PHA Canada’s 2026 Pulmonary Hypertension Community Conference.
Overall objectives

Ensure the timely and accurate diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension (PH) across Canada
-
Support health care providers in ensuring a comprehensive assessment of all PH patients
-
Support health care providers in ensuring the most effective treatment approach for all PH patients
-
Facilitate the implementation of standards of excellence for pulmonary hypertension care in Canada; and
-
Support national pulmonary hypertension medical projects like the National PH Registry and Canadian PH Clinical Trials Network.
