Dr. Tyler Pitre

Dr. Tyler Pitre is a Clinical Associate (Respirologist) at the University Health Network in Toronto. Dr. Pitre earned his Medical Doctor degree from McMaster University, where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine. He followed this with a PhD, Medicine from the University of East Anglia. He has contributed to over 50 peer reviewed academic publications, having led 31 as lead author in many areas of respiratory medicine, including interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, COVID-19 infection, airways disease, as well as critical care medicine. His future clinical and research interest involve evidence based medicine in interstitial lung diseases and pulmonary hypertension.
