Dhaval Thanavala

Dhaval will help spotlight recent research articles and clinical breakthroughs for the pulmonary hypertension (PH) community. He has developed a strong interest in respiratory health while pursuing his undergraduate degree in Medical Sciences at Western University.

Building on his extensive experience as a volunteer with Mackenzie Health’s hospitals, Dhaval is excited to help the PH community stay fully informed and closely connected to emerging research and clinical advancements.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Dhaval has a deep passion for sports, having played competitive hockey for a decade. He is a devoted fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and rarely passes up the opportunity to support them. Above all, he prioritizes what matters most, always making time for family and friends.
