Dr. Rhea Varughese
Dr. Rhea Varughese is a respirologist with the Edmonton Pulmonary Hypertension and Lung Transplant Programs. She completed her medical training, internal medicine, and pulmonary medicine residency at the University of Calgary. Subsequently, she completed training in lung transplantation at the University of Calgary and the University of Alberta with a research fellowship at the University of Toronto. During her training, she developed an interest in pulmonary hypertension. Her research focuses on outcomes in both PH and lung transplantation, frailty, quality of life, and pulmonary rehabilitation.
