This email tool below makes it easy for you to support the PAH community by contacting your Premier, Minister of Health and, if you reside in Ontario, your local MPP. Through the letter provided, you can ask your community leaders to ensure that expert physicians in your province are able to determine which medication is best for each individual PAH patient, both as initial treatment as well as subsequent treatment during careful follow-up. In addition, you can ask them to ensure that all PAH patients have publicly funded access to any and all approved PAH medications.
Once you have entered your name and email address in the form below and have selected your letter recipients, the text of the letter provided can be sent as is, or customized if you have anything else you would like to include. You may add as much or as little detail as you wish and, if applicable, we encourage you to include elements of how PAH has touched your life.
If you would like to gain a deeper understanding of PAH and the current issue at hand, more information is available at http://www.phacanada.ca/en/about-ph.
Thank you for your support.
Please note, Quebec is not a member of the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH) and therefore does not participate in the Common Drug Review (CDR). For a list of publicly funded PAH treatments in Quebec, please visit the list of medications covered by the prescription drug insurance plan, administered by the Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ) here.
