Forks Over Knives: Documentary Screening with Kate McGoey-Smith
Mississauga, ON
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Meet Kate McGoey-Smith, diagnosed in 2007 with Idiopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PH), a rare, incurable progressive terminal illness which left her: on continuous oxygen, legally blind, on the lung-transplant monitoring list and progressed to needing insulin for Type 2 Diabetes... then in December of 2012 she changed to a “forks over knives” way of eating. Fifteen months later, Kate was off her oxygen (except at night - down to 2 litres instead of 6), vision restored, off the lung transplant monitoring list and off all diabetic medications - no longer diabetic! Her five medical specialist confirm these results.

Learn more about her amazing journey and what evidence-based science demonstrates as the most optimal way of eating for people of all ages, even pregnant women and the elderly! These foods are health-transforming and budget-friendly with easy to make, simple and delicious meals!
