2018 05 02 (Alberta) Advocacy Training Workshop
Alberta
9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

 Dear PHriends,

Our colleagues over at Scleroderma Canada are pleased to invite you to an Advocacy Workshop and a visit to the Alberta Legislature on Wednesday, May 2, 2018.

The day will start at the Matrix Hotel (10640 100 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5J 3N8) for an Advocacy Training Workshop. Participants will learn why advocacy is important and how to be an effective advocate, as well as a brief update on the reimbursement status of Uptravi® and other medications for PAH in Alberta and across the country.

All who are interested are also welcome to join them for a visit to the Alberta Legislature to attend Question Period, and (hopefully!) for a brief “Meet & Greet” with Alberta’s Minister of Health. This will be an important opportunity to bring awareness to scleroderma and PAH and to thank the Health Minister for her Government’s ongoing support of the community.
