PH Research

PHA Canada believes that the world of PH is about to change for the better.

Today, Canadian PH patients have 10 treatments available to them, and this number will increase as clinical trials continue. There is currently more study and research into the field of PH than ever before. The past few years have seen exponential growth in awareness and advocacy efforts. This has resulted in a previously unparalleled quality of life for those affected by the disease.

PH research is important because patients and caregivers everywhere want a cure for this disease. Since the summer of 2014, PHA Canada has been gathering funds for PH research. The majority of this funding has come directly from community fundraisers and events, held by members across Canada. This incredible involvement of the PH community to strive for funding for PH research shows how important the issue of research is to our members.

How we contribute to critical PH research
