Video Public Service Announcements

The Pulmonary Hypertension Association of Canada marked November Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Month 2016 with the release of two new video PSAs. The 30-second videos aim to raise public awareness of the symptoms of pulmonary hypertension (PH) and the impacts of this rare, potentially fatal disease. The PSAs feature pulmonary hypertension patients and caregivers from British Columbia, Canada who demonstrate the significant impact PH has on their daily lives. The PSAs also explain the main symptoms of pulmonary hypertension and encourage viewers experiencing such symptoms to speak to their doctor about PH. The PSAs were produced in partnership with filmmaker Tyler Gamsby (Creek Water Media) and have been approved by the Television Bureau of Canada.

The PSAs are available for public broadcast on television and online. Upon request, PHA Canada will release the videos for broadcast in the file format specified by the broadcaster. For inquiries, please contact Mariane Bourcheix-Laporte, Communications Associate, at mblaporte@phacanada.ca
